Project Updates
Status changed from "Job completed (open invoice)" to "Job completed (paid in full)"
Client just paid full total of $1,300 via payable invoice
Spoke with Mario on his findings as they relate to the foundation. He stated that it appears that water is seeping into the basement because of the foundation. He recommends that the foundation to be completely water-proofed and the concrete to be replaced in order to prevent any further instances of water entering the home.
EMS invoice sent to client via email.
EMS total: $1,300.00
Status changed from "Job Underway" to "Job completed (open invoice)"
Spoke with Q, client will be paying out of pocket. Total hours on job site during EMS: 2 hours. Additional 3 hours for moisture checks and pick up. Extraction, apply anti-microbial, and equipment is the scope. Discuss pricing with Robby.
From Harold on second loss: Yea. It seems like his policy with USAA isn’t going to cover any of the damages based on “neglect” with the back up. I looked into if it would be covered under the premise of structural issues with the foundation and it looks highly unlikely. It seems he’s going to have to pay out of pocket on this one
On 3/11/26, I discussed with George how his Claim and initial Reconsideration were handled and denied. George's cause of loss seemed to be water back up from the drainage pipes on the basement level outside of the rear entry. As of late, this is a reoccurring event, especially during heavy rainstorms. The plumber's report states that the pipe was obstructed by tree matter and other debris. This information prompted USAA to deny the coverage based upon "neglect" from the homeowner. After this week's rain, more water inundated George's basement. Upon inspection of the dwelling, we found water entering through the many cracks in foundation. We discussed how the water entry could be from the cracks in the foundation of the dwelling and this could be a plausible Cause of Loss accepted by USAA. Our next goal is to review George's policy and consult with Mario (mason) in order to find any support for another Reconsideration from USAA.
George likely wants to hold off on flooring, q is going to confirm. Harold is going to speak woth george re past loss and see if this new information helps his claim that was denied
